My Story
I’ve always had a unique passion for making things. Over the years, I’ve grown as a mostly self-taught artist. The basis of my creativity started with making tiny paper fortune tellers, braiding friendship bracelets, improving my handwriting and cutting duct tape with exact-o knives. I later came to realize I had a knack for precision and attention to detail. In high school I was introduced to building materials; this sparked an interest in wood shop, the smell of wood and learning how to use new tools. While in college pursuing art and design, I was taught how to operate multiple architectural programs and how to weld -which surprisingly I took a great liking to. With a lot of practice and my new-found confidence of skills, I feel I’m truly becoming a well-rounded and versatile artist and designer. Dedication to my interests of creating and designing things has allowed me to cultivate a personal style realize my core values. All these skills and experiences have helped guide me on the path of knowledge about design as it affects my everyday life.
